THE PROJECT

The owner of this house in Harpenden appreciates the value of home staging. Coming from Australia, they believe in never putting a house on the market without first staging it. 

This house had been in the same family for over 60 years and was passed down to the current owner who is based in Australia. We made use of some of the mid-century antique furniture which belonged to their relatives and created a scheme around the treasured pieces. The small unassuming vacant box room to the front of the house was transformed into a single bedroom with a desk, showcasing it as a third bedroom. The house sold within a month at the desired price.
