Gough House Fleet Street

We were asked by our lovely client to update this unique property just off Fleet Street in London. The property is located in a Grade II listed building in a conservation area. It was the site of the Stationers’ Company’s School from 1861 – 1893.

This grammar school for boys was founded to provide education for the sons of those in the printing, newspaper and publishing industry, which concentrated around the area. The property is just a stone’s throw from the Royal Court of Justice and many historical pubs frequented by the likes of Charles Dickens and Mark Twain.

The apartment was very basic and worn out from years of being tenanted. We completely re-decorated the space and furnished it with stylish furniture and accessories. We designed each room to complement the colours, patterns and style of the building’s facade, visible from the stunning large crittall windows throughout the apartment.

The property is for sale and being marketed by Prime London.
