Our lovely client engaged our Interior Design and Pre-Sale Property Makeover services for this unique apartment. It is located just off Fleet Street in London. This Grade II listed building is in a conservation area close to The Royal Court of Justice, Goldman Sachs and Deliotte offices. It used to be the site of the Stationers’ Company’s School from 1861 – 1893.

This grammar school for boys was founded to provide education for the sons of those in the printing, newspaper and publishing industry, which concentrated around the area. The property is just a stone’s throw from the Royal Court of Justice. It is also close to many historical pubs used to be frequented by the likes of Charles Dickens and Mark Twain.

There are large, stunning crittall windows in every room throughout the apartment, which look out onto the beautiful courtyard. We designed each room by taking inspiration from the colours, patterns and style of the building’s facade.

As the apartment had been tenanted for some time, it was therefore in need of a complete makeover. We re-decorated the interior, and then sourced and furnished it with stylish furniture and accessories.

We used a stylish geometric pattern wallpaper to add interests to the large expanse of wall in the open plan living room. The strong Pelt colour on the opposite wall helps to bring balance to the overall colour scheme.

We gave the master bedroom a luxurious makeover using furniture in a light, neutral tone and brass accent.

The smaller bedroom is covered in a bold textured wallpaper. The subtle contrasting lines against a rustic blue colour makes the tiny room feel extremely cosy.

After a complete transformation, the apartment now looks super chic, stylish and homely, ready for its new owner.

The property is for sale and being marketed by Prime London.
