THE PROJECT

This penthouse in Sandbanks offers a roof terrace with sweeping 360-degree views of the stunning Dorset coast. Designing and sourcing furniture for outdoor spaces of coastal homes do come with several challenges.

The furniture and accessories need to be able to withstand the high winds and harsh weather conditions, be seagull proof and washable (droppings!!), and look stylish at the same time. We sourced the weatherproof and sturdy outdoor furniture and accessories from our list of trusted suppliers. Even the sandbags, which are used to weigh down the furniture, must look good and were designed and made in Denmark.
