This character cottage in St Albans that we staged at short notice sold within 48hrs after the first viewing. It had struggled to sell for two months when it was left vacant prior to staging.

After the owners moved out, this vacant property was attracting very few viewings and no offers. The open plan living room and dining area were not clearly defined. The photos of the empty rooms looked very uninspiring in the online listing. We carried out some essential maintenance work and staged the house, converting the small study into a single bedroom. It was then re-listed and sold as a 3-bedroom house.
