THE PROJECT

This large and spacious terrace on the top floor of a new-build development in St. Albans has uninspiring views. With a considered design, we transformed it into a calming space for our client to enjoy.

The terrace bathes in the soft glow of the evening sunshine, but overlooks onto an industrial park and some large warehouse roofs. We aimed to partially obscure this view using artificial trees to blend in with the trees in the distant skyline. We used white marble pebbles in the pale grey planters to create an understated yet effective design which integrates into the surrounding.
