LOYD COURT

The owners of this 2-Bedroom apartment have relocated overseas. The property had been tenanted for many years. It was listed for sale for more than 6 months but attracted very little interests and no offers. 

Upon inspection, the walls were covered in scuffs, dirt and grease, and skirting boards were filthy everywhere. The bathroom was mouldy and toilet was badly stained. Some of the light bulbs were blown and the lighting was dim. It was in urgent need of a Pre-sale Property Makeover, which would explain why it was not attracting any buyers. The owners were not aware of the poor condition the property was in. We took videos and photos of every room for them and set out a Schedule of Works required to bring it up to date, including repainting and a thorough clean. The owner also decided on  Home Staging and the flat was then staged and styled for sale after the makeover.

It would have been difficult to organise various tradespeople to carry out the work from overseas. We also co-ordinated visits by agents to value the property on behalf of the owners.  

The property sold immediately through Bradford and Howley.
